How do I cancel my WaterAlert subscription?
Please note that WaterAlert is not managed by the USGS Water Data for the Nation team. The service has a web site that may contain more authoritative and up to date information.

Here are the basics:
- Open one of your WaterAlert text or email messages. In it, you will find a unique web link with the format: http://water.usgs.gov/wateralert/hns?ZZZZZ;NNNNNNNN where ZZZZZ is a random number assigned to your alert and NNNNNNNN is the station number of the site.
- To Delete (signoff) this alert, send an email to wateralert@usgs.gov with Subject: SIGNOFF hni-ZZZZZ_NNNNNNNN
